iiyama is preparing to launch two new G-Master gaming monitors in the United Kingdom. There are the iiyama G-Master G3266HS Gold Phoenix and G-Master GB2730QSU Silver Crow models. The iiyama$ Gold Phoenix G3266HS is already available to buy on Amazon.co.uk for £384.58, while the iiyama Silver Crow GB2730QSU will be available from the mid-December.
Although both iiyama monitors have been targeted to gaming users, the products offered by iiyama have quite different specifications. iiyama G-Master GB2730QSU Silver Crow is a 27-inch monitor that uses a TN type panel with QHD (2560×1440 pixels), 1ms response time and refresh up to 75 Hz with Free-Sync support.
The viewing angles are not the maximum (170/160°), balanced like all the TNs with low response time, 1000:1 contrast and 350cd/m2 brightness. The iiyama GB2730QSU Silver Crow features an aggressive and ergonomic design with different adjustment options, it offers DVI, HDMI, Display Port and USB 3.0 hub with two outputs.
iiyama G-Master G3266HS Gold Phoenix, on the other hand, is a 32-inch monitor with curved panel (1800R) VA type with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and refresh up to 144Hz. It comes with the response time of 3ms does not surprise us, while the static contrast that stands at 3000:1 clearly improves.
This gaming monitor also supports FreeSync, while for the aesthetics we notice more refined lines with a slightly sacrificed ergonomic. The iiyama Gold Phoenix features DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort, and a headphone socket, but without USB hub. Both iiyama gaming monitors have built-in stereo speakers (2x2W).
