iFi Audio introduced the GO blu portable wireless DAC amp/headphones amplifier with a small size and a weight of only 26g that is easy to bring anywhere. The Bluetooth amplifier connects to iOS and Android devices, is compatible with the Bluetooth HD codec standard for high transmission quality, and has a long battery life of up to 10 hours of continuous use. iFi GO blu also has an impressive hardware design with separate components that ensure the best sound quality.

iFi GO blu supports most popular codecs such as SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low-Latency, LDAC, and HWA, allowing up to 96kHz/24-bit transmission. The headphone amp uses Bluetooth 5.1 technology to provide a stable connection and save more battery.

The audio circuitry of iFi GO blu is designed according to iFi Direct Drive standards with two parallel mono channels to help ensure signal quality and reduce distortion in the full range. The quality of components that the machine uses is also very rare for other product lines in the same segment. GO blu’s amplifier circuit has an output voltage of 5.6V and auto-gain ±6dB, allowing it to pull most of the headset models on the market.

iFi Hi Fi amp is equipped with a finely crafted ChronoDial knob that acts as a multi-function control interface including playing music, stopping music, skipping tracks, adjusting volume, and activating virtual assistants. The ChronoDial crown is completely cast from corrosion-treated stainless steel with a beryllium-cobalt copper finish. The button part is made of CNC-cut aluminum AL6063, using a pure nickel spring.

The headphones amplifier is equipped with gold-plated 3.5mm and 4.4mm jacks and also has advanced audio technologies such as XBass to enhance bass, XSpace to help expand the soundstage. As mentioned above, the iFi GO blu has a small size and an extremely modest weight of only 26g.

In terms of hardware, iFi GO blu uses a Qualcomm QCC5100 Bluetooth chip that supports “Bluetooth Engine” technology that can be updated to support new codecs in the future (allowing for wireless updates). The powerful Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chip for 32-bit decoding (oversampling), provides a Dynamic Range of 130dB and THD+N -115dB. iFi GO blu is also equipped with high-end audio capacitors including TDK C0G (Class-1 Ceramic) and muRata.

Recently, iFi has also launched a hip-dac2 DAC / Headphones Amplifier model aimed at users who want to listen to music with mobile devices such as smartphones or pocket music players. This new iFi hip DAC is equipped with an XMOS 16 chip for the USB input, and also allows for MQA decoding.
