Huawei Y7 Prime has been officially launched in China, it is the successor of the Y6 Prime smartphone was launched last year in China. The handset is now listed on the company’s website in Gold and Silver colors but without any pricing and availability details.

The Huawei Y7 Prime features a 5.5-inch IPS in-cell display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. The device has a diamond cutting-edge technology frame design and its housing made of durable aluminum alloy. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset along with 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Y7 Prime flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens to capture a wide group selfies and quality video calling. The handset comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat -based on Huawei EMUI 5.1 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby time up to 754 hours and up to 25 hours of talk time on 3G network. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.35 mm and weighs 165 grams.
Apart from this, Huawei brand is all set to launch Honor 9 smartphone next June 12, the device is expected to feature a 5.15-inch Full HD display, powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor; Mali G71 GPU; 4GB RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage and a 20-megapixels + 12-megapixels Dual rear camera system.
