Huawei brings the new Matebook X Pro to the Mobile World Congress 2018, an ultra-slim laptop of its MateBook X-series which is now bigger and more powerful notebook that comes with a better display and upgraded audio technology.
Huawei Matebook X Pro features a 13.9-inch FullView touchscreen LTPS display with 3K (3000 x 2000 pixels) resolutions. First of all, the particularly reduced display frames that make it possible to achieve a 91% screen-to-body ratio is the first to hit. The screen has a 450 nits brightness, 100 percent sRGB color and 3:2 aspect ratio.
It has a metal body with a diamond-cut rough finish, has a thickness of 14.6 mm and a weight just over one kilogram (1.33 kg). Huawei will market the Matebook X Pro in the two colors Space Gray and Mystic Silver. It is powered by Core i7-8550U or Core i5-8250U 8th-gen Kaby Lake-R Core processors. The laptop packs 8GB or 16GB of RAM. For graphics, it also features Nvidia GeForce MX150, 2GB GDDR5. In terms of storage, the laptop comes in 256GB or 512GB SSD variants.
The multimedia sector includes the Dolby Atmos Sound System and it promises up to 12 hours of battery life in 1080p or users can “work regularly” for 14 hours on the MateBook X Pro thanks to the 57.4Wh battery and low power consumption.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro price is starting from $1842 the i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model; $2090 for the i7, 8GB RAM, 512GB storage model and the Intel i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage variant costs $2336. It will be available from Q2, 2018 in China, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, Nordic, and Saudi Arabia.
