After the launch of the Huawei Honor 20 and 20 Pro smartphones back in May, now the company has announced the Honor 20S smartphone in China. This new Honor phone comes with a 6.26-inch All-View display, Kirin 810 SoC, Side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 32MP in-screen front camera.
Price and Availability
The Huawei Honor 20S price in China has been set at CNY 1899 – approximately $265 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 1899 – approximately $307. It will roll out across Europe and Asia soon and comes in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Icelandic White color options.
Honor 20S Specifications
The Honor 20S features a 6.26-inch All-View display with FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) resolution, 91.7% screen-to-body-ratio, 412 PPI, and 96% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a 2.27 GHz octa-core processor which supported by HUAWEI Kirin 810 CPU with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU and 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage.
On the camera front, the Huawei Honor mobile bears a 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, AIS, 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with f/2.4 aperture. For selfie, there is a 32-megapixel in-screen front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Honor 20S has a gradient finish on the back and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on Magic UI 2.1.1 out of the box. It packs a 3750mAh battery with 20W fast charging. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, USB Type-C. The device measures 154.25×73.97×7.87mm and weigh 172 grams.
