HTC One S9 has been silently launched in Germany. It is the latest mid-range smartphone device from the company in the S series, it is said to be a very similar variant of the HTC One M9s was launched last year in China. The HTC One S9 price in Germany around €499 – approximately $560; and is available in Gunmetal Grey, Gold and Silver color options. It will go up for sale next month in Germany, no word on release date for other region yet. 
The HTC One S9 sports a 5.0-inch Super LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution that can deliver a high pixel density of 443ppi and also protected by Gorilla Glass layer on top of it. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2TB with the help of microSD card slot.
Main highlight of One S9 his camera features, it bears a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with 1.12 micron pixels, BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), f/2.0 aperture, 28 mm focal length, 74.8 degree wide angle lens and Bicolor dual LED flash. Rear camera can shoot 4K slow motion video at 30 frames per second. Speaking front-facing camera, there is an Ultrapixel camera with 2 micron pixels, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 26.8 mm focal length. There are also some special selfie modes such as Live makeup, Auto-Selfie, Smile Selfie, Selfie Stand, Voice Selfie Self-timer, HDR mode etc. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps.
The HTC One S9 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS along with the latest HTC Sense UI interface. It packs a 2840mAh battery with Extreme power saving mode that is rated to deliver talk time of up to 13 hours and standby time of up to 658 hours. The handset also features a HTC BoomSound with Dynamic Dolby Audio Technology for better 360 degree surround sound experience.
The device has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as connectivity options. It measures 144.6 × 69.7 × 10.09 mm and weighs around 158 grams.
