HTC 10 with 12MP UltraPixel Camera, 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 820 Officially Launched

HTC 10, a new flagship from the Taiwanese has been officially launched in US & UK today, as expected. It was most rumored handset in the worldwide in recent days. The HTC 10 is available in Silver and Grey color variants and has been priced at $699 and is available for pre-orders today on HTC’s official website; and shipping will start from May 2016. 

The HTC 10 features a 5.2-inch Super LCD display with QuadHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that can translate a higher pixel density of 564ppi. There is 2.5D Glass along with dual edge Gorilla Glass protection layer on top of it. It houses all metal uni-body and new elements on the back panel that HTC called “Silhouette Design”. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB/64GB of native storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

The HTC 10 flaunts a 12MP UltraPixel primary camera with dual tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.55-micron pixel size, Laser auto focus and OIS, which is capable of shooting 4K videos. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1.34um pixels and wide-angle lens to capture wide selfies and high quality video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button which can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest HTC Sense 8 UI on top of it. It has Dual (Nano) SIM support, for connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The handset houses a 3000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0, it can be charged up to 50 percent battery in just 30 minutes.
