HP recently has announced a new mobile workstation. The ZBook Power G7 is now available to pre-order on the B&H store. New HP workstation is available with particularly powerful Xeon processors and dedicated graphics cards.
With the ZBook Power G7, HP clearly has professional users in mind, for whom productivity comes first. The laptop workstation should also be able to cope with the tough everyday work and is made from a robust aluminum housing according to the manufacturer.
Internally, potential buyers can choose between numerous processors from Intel, specifically the model with the Intel Core i5-10300H, Core i7-10750H, Core i5-10400H, Core i7-10850H, Core i9-10885H, and the Xeon W-10855M available – accordingly, users can fall back on up to eight cores in the i9 variant.
The Intel UHD Graphics built into the processors is used as the graphics card, and there is also a dedicated Nvidia Quadro T2000 with four gigabytes of GDDR6, an Nvidia Quadro T1000, or an Nvidia Quadro T620.
The main memory measures up to 64 gigabytes. If customers opt for ECC-SDRAM, the maximum possible capacity drops to 32 gigabytes, with two SODIMM banks being available in each case. A PCIe SSD of up to two terabytes is used for internal storage, and a SED SSD of up to 512 gigabytes with encryption can also be ordered.
The variations of displays are comparatively large: buyers can choose between three Full HD versions with and without touch, with one model promising full coverage of the sRGB color space. The 4K panel is also specified in this way.
While the HDMI, Thunderbolt and numerous USB 3.1 ports are standard, the integrated smart card reader is a typical business feature. The ZBook Power G7 can optionally be ordered with an NFC module. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth are integrated, and some model variants also have a fingerprint sensor. It weighs at least 1.92 kilograms and is 2.86 centimeters thick.

The B&H store has also listed the ultra-thin ZBook Create G7 and ZBook Studio G7 mobile workstation laptops, these are the first HP workstations made from recycled plastic that has been fished from the ocean to protect the environment.
