HP Z40c G3 5K2K Monitor with Thunderbolt 3 and Webcam

HP has announced the Z40c G3 video conferencing display. The 34 curved monitor has a built-in IPS panel, has a resolution of 5120×2160 pixels (5K2K, 21:9) at 60 Hz, and comes with a 13 MP pop-up webcam with a tilt function.

The HP curved monitor has a curvature of 2300 R, a color depth of 10 bits (8 bits + FRC), a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a brightness of 300 cd/m², and a response time of 14 ms (grey to gray). Furthermore, 100 percent sRGB and 98 percent DCI-P3 are mentioned.

Two internal 5-watt speakers are included, as is an integrated microphone with noise cancellation. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, a USB hub, an RJ-45 port, and two Thunderbolt 3 sockets with USB-C, DisplayPort alternate mode, and 100-watt power delivery are available as interfaces.

The ergonomics aren’t skimped either: inclination, rotation, height adjustment, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filter, and flicker-free backlight are on board. The typical power requirement of the device is 72 watts.
