HP Pavilion 15 laptop (15-EG0010NR) is the laptop we want to introduce to you in this review. Although the laptop belongs to the office line, HP has upgraded the performance level, and it can compete with competitors in the segment. Now let’s walk through the HP Pavilion 15 i5-1135G7 review in detail.

Performance

As usual before entering the detailed performance evaluation of the HP Pavilion 15 i5-1135G7, we would like to get a quick score through the hardware parameters:

We played League of Legends, and in total combat moments, the FPS was 73–83 FPS (average-high graphics). Typically, FPS fluctuations are consistently 83–90 FPS, sometimes reaching 97 FPS.

To provide enough storage space for users, HP has integrated the HP Pavilion 15 i5-1135G7 set of 512 GB M.2 PCIe SSD drives. Using CrystalDiskMark, we have measured the read/write speed of the hard drive, and the results are as follows:

Design

Display

The screen of the HP Pavilion 15 is actually very good in this price range. To measure the laptop’s battery life, we used BatteryMon software. During testing, we opened 7 Chrome tabs and Photoshop to design and also opened Lightroom to color some of these photos. For us, the result of more than 4 hours of multi-tasking is a commendable thing.

Heatsink

In today’s article, finally, we will talk about heat dissipation. To give the clearest and most objective approach, we used AIDA64 software combined with real-world experience to evaluate the HP Pavilion 15’s heatsink.

And as you can see, within more than an hour of using the same conditions when testing the battery, the CPU temperature warms up to 68° C. We feel that this temperature is not very high and the experience is not as hot as you think. You will be able to complete your work quickly and within the time limit.

However, do not force your laptop to operate at maximum performance for a long time, especially when playing heavy games like League of Legends on a laptop for more than 2 hours. At that time, the device is very hot at the bottom.
