HP continues to show great interest in the PC Gaming segment by announcing a new series of high-end products in its OMEN line-up. HP OMEN X Compact Desktop, a completely new portable desktop system enclosed in a compact size, ideal for all those gamers who enjoy attending LAN parties, without giving up compromises in terms of performance as well.
Compact in size and perfectly able to fit into its dedicated backpack, OMEN X Compact Desktop can also be used as a living room desktop or Home PC, thanks to a heavy technical push.
It comes with aggressive and edgy design, integrates high-end specs that match the OMEN brand dedicated to gamers. Inside it, we find a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with factory-overclocked, can far exceed the minimum requirements for VR contents. The processor is a seventh generation Intel Core i7, with 16GB of GDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCI-e SSD storage.
The HP OMEN X Compact Desktop also includes docking station which adds more connectivity such as 5x USB type-A, 1x Ethernet, 1x USB-C, HDMI and Display Port, while the rear of the desktop case includes 4x USB type-A, 1x USB-C port (Thunderbolt), 1x audio jack, power output for HTC Vive, HDMI 2.0 and a Mini Display Port.
These connection ports will allow you to enjoy any VR contents using Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets, while the optional VR backpack allows you to charge your PC, providing extra one-hour gameplay.
