As part of the CES 2021, HP is offering a whole range of new notebooks, from the innovative Elite Folio to all-rounders such as the Envy 14. HP does not try to attract attention with a single highlight, but rather to offer an all-round successful configuration, starting with the Intel Core i5 -1135G7 in combination with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q with 4 GB GDDR6 graphics memory.

There is also 16 GB of DDR4-3,200 RAM and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. HP relies on a 14-inch touchscreen in 16:10 format with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a decent brightness of 400 nits. The slim edges result in a screen-to-body ratio of at least 87 percent. Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers are designed to provide decent audio quality.

The 17.8 millimeter thin, 1.58-kilogram light housing contains a 63.3 Wh battery that can be charged to 50 percent in just 30 minutes using a 135-watt power supply. The HP 14 notebook PC has a 720p webcam, a large multi-touch trackpad, an illuminated keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.
