With the EliteBook Ultra G1i, HP presents a flagship ultrabook equipped with the largest haptic trackpad in the world with advanced haptic feedback. The device offers first-class features, a high-quality 9 MP AI webcam, an economical and fast Intel Lunar Lake processor, and an OLED display.
The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i weighs just 1.2 kilograms and is only 9.1 millimeters thin at the front edge. In the middle, the maximum height is 14.9 millimeters, but the significantly thinner edges make the device appear much less thick. In addition to the ultra-thin, two-tone keyboard, the most striking feature of the case is the vast trackpad, which HP says is the largest haptic trackpad in the world.
This trackpad offers extreme precision, allowing users to click across the entire surface with consistent resistance. The 9-megapixel webcam also stands out, as it reportedly improves image quality using AI with HP’s Poly Cam Pro software. HP has installed quad speakers and dual microphones. The 14-inch 16:10 display is equipped with an OLED panel with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits; a touchscreen is available for an additional charge.
The notebook is equipped with an Intel Lunar Lake chip, presumably with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V with integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140V and AI accelerator, which means the device supports Microsoft’s Copilot+ features. The EliteBook Ultra G1i has a maximum 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, three Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C), one USB-A, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. You can charge the 64 Wh battery via USB-C with up to 65 watts.
