Honor Play 6 With 5.0-inch Display, 5MP Front Camera with LED Flash Announced

Along with the launch of the V9 Play, Huawei Honor also announced the Honor Play 6 budget smartphone with 5.0-inch HD display, 8MP rear and 5MP front camera with LED flash. Honor Play 6 price in China is CNY – 599 approximately $91, it comes in White and Gold color options and will be available from September 7 in China.

Honor Play 6 Specifications

The Huawei Honor Play 6 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. The device comes with a separate easy key placed on the left side that lets you assign various actions such as launching apps for press, double press, and press-and-hold gesture. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which supported by MediaTek MT6737T chipset paired with 600MHz Mali-T720 GPU. It packs a 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Play 6 flaunts an 8-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. For selfie, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84° wide-angle lens and front LED flash to capture brightest self-portraits and high-quality video calling.

The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -based on Huawei EMUI 4.1 out of the box. It packs a 3020mAh battery and dual SIM card slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. The handset measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.85 mm and weighs 150 grams.
