After leaked in EEC certification along with the images and specifications, Honor 8s has been officially launched in Russia. It is a budget device comes with a 5.71-inch Dew Drop notch display, 2GB RAM, Android Pie, and 3020mAh battery.
Honor 8s Price and Availability
The Honor 8s price in Russia has been set at RUB 8,490 – approximately $130 for the sole 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version. The device is already on sale in Russia. It should roll out in other markets soon. The handset comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color options.
Honor 8s Specifications
The Honor 8s features a 5.71-inch curved glass dew drop notch display with HD+ (1520 × 720 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio, and 84.6% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio A22 12nm chipset with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU and 2GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.
On the camera front, the 8s flaunts a 13-megapixel main rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Face Unlock. The Honor 8s doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner, it has patterns on the back, and comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots.
The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9.0 out of the box. It packs a 3020mAh battery and for connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The device measures 147.13 × 70.78 × 8.45mm and weighs 146 grams.
