After pre-orders listing of the Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite in USA, Huawei’s Honor brand launched the Honor 20 Lite smartphone in Malaysia. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.21-inch drop notch display, 4GB RAM, Triple Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.
Honor 20 Lite Price and Availability
The Honor 20 Lite price in Malaysia has been set at RM 949 – approximately $228 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version. The handset will also be released in the UK on May 15 with a price tag of GBP 249 – approximately $326 and will gradually expand to other European and South East Asian markets. The device comes in Phantom Red, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Blue color options.
Honor 20 Lite Specifications
The Honor 20 Lite features a 6.21-inch 2.5D curved glass Waterdrop notch display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and about 90% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 710 12nm Mobile Platform with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.
On the camera front, the 20 Lite bears a 24-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens For selfie, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with AI beautify features.
The Honor 20 Lite has a gradient back made using 3D lithography technology and a fingerprint sensor on it. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie -based on EMUI 9.0 out of the box. It packs a 3400mAh battery and supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB. The device measures 154.8×73.64×7.95mm and weigh 164 grams.
