Homtom HT3 Dual SIM Entry-level Smartphone will be Priced at $55

While the entry-level smartphones come with an advance feature and aspiring specifications, the announcement of the Homtom HT3 with basic features and pretty acceptable specs. While the handset is expected to priced around $55 and it is soon available for purchase from various online retailers. Of course, the smartphone market is flooded with so many entry-level smartphones that are better alternatives to this offering.

Doogee has definitely been busy to expand its sub-brand Homtom with the launch of HT3 – a successor of recently launched DOOGEE HOMTOM HT5, HT6 and HT7. When it comes to specifications, the Homtom HT5 boasts a larger 5.0-inch display with HD resolution of 720 x 128 pixels; powered by MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on-board is a whopping 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

The Homtom HT3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, it will feature an 8-megapixels rear camera on the back with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. On the connectivity front, the handset includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual SIM functionality, not any confirmation on 4G LTE connectivity option currently. The handset includes a 2200mAh battery which sounds great under $55.

Last month, DOOGEE launched the Homtom HT7, priced at $39.99 USD for a limited period.

The Homtom HT7 also a dual-SIM 3G device which runs Android 5.1 OS. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display; powered by a 1.0 GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM; 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable with the help of microSD card up to 64GB.

The HomTom Series appears to be a capable entry-level budget smartphone that should be not visible in other same price range devices. Else, an entry-level smartphone line that has been declared to lure the feature phone buyers.
