Gretel recently expanded its smartphone lineup with a new budget 4G smartphone. The A9 4G smartphone promises to deliver powerful, high-speed 4G performance at low cost, being priced at £79.99 in UK, the Gretel A9 can be purchased via Amazon store in Gold and Black color options.
Gretel A9 Specifications
Gretel A9 4G phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and also upgradable to Android 7 Nougat. The device also adopts a front fingerprint sensor that’s unlocked the device in just 0.2seconds according to the company.
The Gretel A9 features a 5.0-inch IPS In-Cell display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT6737 chipset coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The smartphone is offered with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage with support for expandability via microSD card up to 32GB.
This budget 4G smartphone packs 8-megapixel rear camera from Samsung with autofocus and LED flash along with various modes like HDR, Panorama, Night mode, Pose, Child, Film mode and much more. There is a 2-megapixel camera at the front with LED flash to capture bright selfie and video calling.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The Gretel A9 4G comes with a 2300mAh battery and features matte black metallic body with a micro sandblasting process. The handset measures 14.7 x 7.3 x 0.87 cm and weighs 164 grams.
Along with the A9, the company also launched the Gretel A7 3G smartphone, it features a 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6580A quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is offered with 16GB of storage, which is expandable via microSD up to 16GB.
