Google Home Mini is an interesting device, but anyone who is more interested in audio and music listening experience. And so for the most demanding, Google Home Max was presented during the event in San Francisco. A clear answer to Apple and its HomePod.
It is a wireless speaker with four integrated speakers: two 0.7-inch tweeters and two 4.5-inch woofers. This setup provides a maximum volume of up to twenty times that of Google Home Mini. The same design principle of Google Home Mini follows, with the fabric lining and the four LED lights.
The artificial intelligence is naturally at the center of attraction of the device, thanks to Google Assistant. But it also serves to improve sound quality. Thanks to Smart Sound, Google Home Max is able to adapt its audio to the acoustic characteristics of every room in which it is positioned – all automatically and in a matter of seconds.

Google Home Max includes an AUX port and supports Bluetooth connectivity, and naturally, supports a lot of streaming music services – among them, there are the inevitable Spotify and, let alone, Google Play Music. The Google Home Max price is at $399 and will go on sale only in December, starting with the US before being made available in other regions. It will be launched in Chalk and Charcoal colors and will come with a 12-month subscription to the ad-free YouTube Red, which includes YouTube Music.
