Alongside the Chromebook Plus 516 GE gaming model, Acer introduced a new convertible Chromebook with Chrome OS, designed for business users and discerning buyers. Acer uses a robust aluminum housing that has been certified according to MIL-STD 810 and a 14-inch IPS panel in 16:10 format that offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, a brightness of 340 nits and a 100 percent representation of the sRGB color space.
This Google AI Chromebook features a 360-degree hinge and Corning Gorilla Glass protects it from scratches. You can operate the touchscreen using the included stylus, which stores conveniently in the lower half of the case. In the top model, Acer includes up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 165U processor. The Google AI Chromebook offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It includes a PCIe 4.0 SSD with a maximum capacity of 512 GB. Two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support can charge the Intel Core Ultra 5 laptop at up to 65 watts.
The Acer convertible Chromebook also offers USB-A, HDMI 2.0, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1. A standout feature is the high-quality 1,440p webcam, which includes a privacy cover, temporal noise reduction, and dual microphones.
