Godox SL100D and SL100Bi Bi-Color LED Video Light for Budget Users

Godox has introduced two new LED video light models: the SL100D Day light and the SL100Bi Bi-Color. These Bi-Color and Daylight lamps are positioned as devices for the budget segment.

This LED video light has a fixed color temperature of 5600K Kelvin. The Daylight lamp has a declared CRI/TLCI rating of 96/97 and (adjustable from 0 to 100%). There are also built-in controls as well as to be controlled by available remote control or a smartphone (using the Godox app).

The Godox SL100D Daylight has a 120 ° fixed beam angle and weighs 1.6 kg. Godox claims 32,100 lux at 1m distance. That’s pretty impressive considering the light draws only 100 watts. Even though it consumes only 100 watts, the manufacturer did not provide for the possibility of battery operation.

The device is capable of playing a variety of special effects, including Lightning 1/2/3, Flash, Conference, Paparazzi, Television, and Broken Bulb.

The Godox SL100D Daylight is equipped with a Bowens mount, so you can use a wide range of affordable and inexpensive lighting modifiers.

Godox SL100Bi Bi-Color

The SL100Bi bi-color LED video light has a color temperature in Kelvin from 2800K to 6500K. The lamp has a stated CRI / TLCI rating of 96/97 and is adjustable from 0 to 100%.

The flashlight has built-in controls, however, just like with the first device, remote control is available or can be controlled via a smartphone using the Godox application.

The lamp has a fixed beam angle of 120 °. The total weight of the device is 1.6 kg. All the same effects as the first model are available: Lightning 1/2/3, Flash, Conference, Paparazzi, Television, and Broken Bulb. The luminaire is equipped with a Bowens mount, so you can use a wide range of affordable and inexpensive lighting modifiers.

The price of the Godox SL100Bi Bi-Color is $229 and it is also available to pre-order at the Bhphotovideo.com and Adorama.com stores.
