Godox unveils World’s Smallest Strobe AD100Pro

Godox has released a new portable flash AD100Pro. Like other AD series strobes, the AD100Pro is 2.4GHz wireless and compatible with Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, and Sony cameras. Using Godox X wireless technology, the AD100Pro Godox flash can be used over 32 wireless channels in 5 groups. The wireless range is just under 100 m.

The AD100Pro is significantly smaller than the compact AD300Pro, measures 120x76x76mm (190x100x90mm for the AD300 Pro), and is powered by the same battery as the Godox V1. Unlike the AD300Pro, the new Godox flash does not have an open lamp, which made it possible to reduce the overall dimensions.

Godox used the same round diffuser with Fresnel lens and, magnetic mount for modifiers as the V1 and Godox H200R for the AD200 and AD200Pro flashes. The AD100Pro is also compatible with the Godox S2 mount, which allows you to install modifiers with a Bowens mount.

The Godox flash includes a 2,600mAh battery that Godox claims will deliver 360 full-power firing on a single charge. This is the same battery used in the Godox V1.

With High-Speed Sync (HSS), you can shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec. Optional flash modes include first and second curtain sync. The recycling time is 0.01–1.5 seconds, depending on the flash output.
