Gionee M6S Plus has been officially launched in China, it is a mid-range smartphone with the massive 6020mAh battery and 6GB of RAM from the Gionee being launched today. The Gionee M6S Plus price in China is about CNY 3,499 – approximately $465 for the 64GB storage and CNY 4,299 – approximately $624 for 256GB storage model. The device has gone up for pre-orders and will be shipped from May 2.
The Gionee M6S Plus features a 6.0-inch Oncell AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The device has a diamond cutting-edge technology frame design and its housing made of durable aluminum alloy. It is powered by a 1.95 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset along with 6GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB/256GB of inbuilt storage.
On the camera front, the M6S Plus flaunts a 12-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens to capture stunning selfie and quality video calling. The Gionee M6S Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner as well, placed on the rear panel below the camera module.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -based on Amigo3.5 OS out of the box. It packs a 6020mAh battery with fast charging and OTG. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 with OTG and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
For sensors, the M6S Plus includes a light sensor, gravity sensor, electronic compass, compass, gyro, and proximity sensor. It also comes with security features associated with payment options and that the live fingerprint scanning feature takes user’s fingerprint as well as heart rate to verify user’s identity. The handset measures 163.3 x 80.9 x 8.25 mm and weighs 215 grams.
