Gionee F5 has been officially launched in China. It is latest budget smartphone with the front Fingerprint sensor from the Goinee being launched today. The Gionee F5 price in China is set to 1,799 Yuan – approximately $262 USD; it is available in Gold and Rose Gold color variants and will go on sale starting from today in China.

The Gionee F5 features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top of it and HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 277ppi along with 16 million colors. The device has a soft edge frame design and its housing made of durable aluminum alloy. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 chipset paired with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the F5 flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with Dual LED flash and various useful camera modes such as night, panorama, HDR, slow motion photography, delay photography, business card scanning, 20 continuous shooting, and much more. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for wide self portraits and quality video calling. You can also record Full-HD (1080p) video at 30fps. 
The Gionee F5 comes equipped with a front fingerprint sensor is embedded in-to the physical home button to unlock the device quickly along with also supports WeChat and AliPay mobile payment services in China. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -based on Amigo UI out of the box. It packs a massive 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 28 hours of music playback time.
It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. For sensors, it has Gyroscope, Light Sensor, Gravity Sensor, Distance Sensing, and Compass. It measures 150 x 74.5 x 7.7 mm and weighs 162 grams.
