Along with the F6, Gionee mobiles also announced the F205 smartphone at its winter event in China. This is also a new edition of its F-series mobile series. It is an entry-level smartphone comes with FullView display, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. Gionee F205 price in China is CNY 999 – approximately $151 and will be available from next month in China.

The Gionee F205 features a 5.45-inch TFT LCD display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass panel. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor which backed by 64-bit MediaTek MT6739 SoC paired with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It packs a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the F205 bears an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera sensor with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on Amigo OS 5.0 and packs a 2670mAh battery.
