Gigabyte Technology lists the new 4K UHD gaming monitor GS27U online. The 27-inch HDR400 gaming monitor features IPS technology, 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), 160 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
The contrast ratio is 1000:1, the color depth is 10 bits (probably 8 bits + FRC ), the typical brightness is 350 cd/m², and the power consumption is 34 watts. The sRGB color space is covered by 127 percent.
The new HDMI 2.1 gaming monitor lacks internal speakers but includes a black stabilizer, crosshair overlay, and picture-in-picture/picture-by-picture modes. AMD FreeSync Premium provides tear-free gaming, while the Aim Stabilizer mode reduces motion blur. It offers two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), and a headphone jack.
The ergonomics are poor with tilt, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight. The Gigabyte GS27U 27-inch IPS gaming monitor weighs 3.61 kg without the stand and measures 613.7 x 369.6 x 53.47 mm (W x H x D).
