The 34-inch ultrawide WQHD Gigabyte G34WQC-A gaming monitor is getting an upgraded successor. The new Gigabyte G34WQCP retains the 3440 x 1440 UWQHD resolution (21:9) but boosts the refresh rate to 180Hz from 144Hz. This DisplayHDR 400-certified VA panel also features a 1500R curve and a 4000:1 contrast ratio.
The 34-inch gaming monitor features a VA panel with 120% sRGB, 90% DCI-P3 coverage, 8-bit color depth, and a typical brightness of 350 cd/m². It consumes 34 watts of power. AMD FreeSync Premium support ensures smooth, tear-free gaming.
Additionally, the WQHD 3440×1440 resolution monitor offers an Aim Stabilizer mode to reduce motion blur, a black stabilizer, a crosshair overlay, and picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture modes.
Connectivity options include two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 inputs (limited to 100Hz), and a headphone output; HDMI 2.1 would have provided higher refresh rates. Ergonomic features include tilt, height adjustment, a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight. The monitor also has two built-in 2-watt speakers.
