Gigabyte G34WQC 34-inch Ultrawide Curved Monitor for Gamers: Price, Specs, and Availability

Gigabyte is expanding its range of wide screen monitor models with a new Ultrawide Curved Monitor for gaming with a 34-inch WQHDA panel named Gigabyte G34WQC. The new Gigabyte Monitor comes with a native 1500R curvature and has built-in stereo speakers and DisplayHDR400 certification.

The Gigabyte G34WQC is a 34-inch Ultrawide Curved Monitor with VA display and 1500R curvature, an image resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz as well as 1 ms response time and support for AMD Freesync Premium. This means that the curved G34WQC is well equipped for an immersive gaming experience.

The 8-bit panel of the Gigabyte gaming monitor offers sRGB color space coverage of 120 percent, 90% DCI-P3, and VESA DisplayHDR400 certification. In addition, the G34WQC also has Gigabyte-typical gaming features such as the “Aim Stabilizer” and “Black Equalizer” on board. The G34WQC is also equipped with built-in stereo speakers (2x 2 watt).

Gigabyte names two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPorts 1.4 for its curved monitor gaming model. Gigabyte mentions a maximum of 80 watts of energy for the monitor monster. In the “Power Saving” and “Power Off” modes, the G34WQC consumes 0.5 watts each, so the G34WQC cannot be switched off directly on the device.
