Gigabyte has updated its Brix mini PC series with a new fanless model based on the Intel Gemini Lake platform. The product named Gigabyte GB-BLCE-4000C is a super compact desktop system that measures just 56.2 x 103 x 116.5 mm, optimized in design to ensure efficient dissipation of internal components.
Gigabyte Brix GB-BLCE-4000C is powered by Celeron N4000 dual-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.6 GHz and TDP of just 6 watts (integrated graphics Intel UHD 600).
Among the specifications, we note a good expansion section that includes 4 USB 3.0 ports (Type-C included), HDMI (1.4b), VGA, Gigabit LAN, Intel WiFi AC, 3.5mm audio jack and a slot for a 2.5″ SATA 3 disk drive.
The new Gigabyte Brix supports a maximum of 8GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, while on the storage front we point out the lack of a microSD reader, leaving the SATA hard disk as the only option (no M.2 slot is provided).
