Getting the most from your repricing tool

A repricing tool like the Amazon repricer connects with your Amazon Seller Central account. It will watch the prices change in your Amazon marketplaces. When the prices in the Buy Box change, the system will consider whether to update the prices of your products according to the repricing strategy you set. You have the right tool, so now you should know how to make full use of it. Here are some of the things that you can do.

  1. Set the minimum and maximum prices

It is vital to set a minimum and maximum price for all the stock keeping units (SKUs) you want to reprice. Without providing the software with your minimum and maximum prices, the program will not function. These prices become the floor and ceiling prices. You cannot sell below or beyond the prices you have set.

However, if you want to observe first, you can turn on the Safe Mode of the Amazon repricer. It will stop all the uploads on a specific channel on Amazon. The repricing will go on internally on your account, but the prices will not be uploaded to Amazon; thus, your live prices will not change. If you are satisfied, you can turn off Safe Mode.

2. Check the repricing tab constantly

You can see a 7-day list of your products priced at the lowest, minimum, and maximum on the repricing tab. Click on any of the numbers shown above the graph, and you can see its pricing status on the tool’s My Inventory Screen. It will help you increase or decrease the prices depending on the movement.

3. Regularly check the Buy Boxes tab

You will get an overview of how many of your products have earned the Buy Box for the last 30 days from the Buy Box tab. You will see the options, such as which Buy Box winning products have low stock, which products do not make it to the Buy Box, and which products are eligible but do not win the Buy Box. You can test your pricing by using the “Beat By” settings and see its effects on the Buy Box percentage.

4. Use the Sleep Mode for profit protection

With Sleep Mode, you can stop your repricing at a certain time of the day. You can either reset the prices to Max or leave them at the same price. When you reset your prices to Max, the prices of your competitors will follow. When you reprice, you get an advantage. You can be sure of success and long-term profits with a repricing tool. It helps you create good relationships with your customers by offering quality products at the right prices, fast shipping, and excellent aftersales services.
