The South Koreans have also entered the budget NVIDIA G Sync compatible monitors segment with the launch of the new LG 24GS65F-B. This 23.8-inch IPS gaming monitor features FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), HDR10, and a maximum refresh rate of up to 180 Hz.
Other features include a fast 1 ms gray-to-gray response time, typical brightness of 300 cd/m², and a contrast ratio 1000:1. It covers 99% of the sRGB color space. FreeSync and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync provide tear-free gaming. Additional gaming features include a black stabilizer, an FPS counter, and a crosshair overlay.
HDR10 support is available, but don’t expect miracles, as the LG 24″ IPS LED FHD freesync monitor lacks dimming and has limited brightness levels. The interface options include two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort, and a headphone output.
When multiple devices are connected, the Auto Input Switch automatically adjusts the signal input, removing the need for manual selection within the OSD.
The 24-inch monitor screen offers tilt, height adjustment, and pivot options. It can also be mounted on a wall or swivel arm using a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). The manufacturer has included a blue light filter, a flicker-free backlight, and a special mode for users with color vision deficiencies.
