GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Tiamat from MSI with GeForce RTX 3080 becomes even more Powerful

Regardless of whether it is a processor, graphics chip, or display, MSI does not make any compromises with the all-new GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Tiamat – with the brand new Intel Core i9-11980HK and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 with a TGP of up to 165 watts, the performance should surpass most gaming notebooks on the market.

The MSI GE76 Raider is not particularly compact with a weight of 2.9 kilograms and a thickness of 25.9 millimeters, but it offers immense performance. The new Dragon Edition Tiamat model again relies on a mostly quite simple design with a massive RGB bar on the front and an RGB-illuminated keyboard, but MSI is now installing the brand-new Intel Tiger Lake-H processors.

Depending on the model, the GE76 Raider uses a Core i7-11800H or a Core i9-11980HK, each with eight cores and 16 threads. There is also an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 (6 GB GDDR6, 130 watts TGP), a GeForce RTX 3070 (8 GB GDDR6, 140 watts TGP), or a GeForce RTX 3080 (16 GB GDDR6, 165 watts TGP).

The 17.3-inch display offers a 1080p resolution and a frame rate of 144 Hz as standard; higher-quality alternatives are also available for an additional charge, from 1080p 360 Hz to 1,440p 240 Hz up to 4K 120 Hz. The gaming notebook offers Up to 64 GB DDR4-3.200 RAM, a maximum 2 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD, an additional PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD, Killer E3100 Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The MSI GE76 Raider is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port (USB-C), one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, three USB-A ports, a Mini-DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, a headphone jack, and an SD Card reader equipped. The device has a 99.9 Wh battery, MSI uses a combination of a 280 watt and a 240-watt power supply for power supply.
