Garmin is presenting a new and elegant vívomove series smartwatch that, as a hybrid model, offers both analog clocks and a touch display. Garmin smart watch vivomove Trend supports various sports apps, Garmin Pay and Smart Notifications, among other things.
Garmin has officially introduced its new smartwatch vívomove Trend. The manufacturer is thus expanding its vívomove series with another model. It is a hybrid smartwatch that, with its elegant design, is primarily aimed at prospective female buyers, but can also be worn by men.
In smartwatches, “hybrid” stands for the combination of an analog movement with classic clock hands and a display, here in the form of a 40 mm large, monochrome full-size touch display. The pointers move to the side with a tap or gesture control to reveal the smart functions of the Garmin smart watch vívomove Trend.
The hybrid smartwatch offers various health and sports functions. In addition to sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), the Garmin vívomove Trend can also provide insights into sleep quality with the Sleep Score and also provides information about the current energy level of the body with the Body Battery.
There are also over ten sports apps for indoor and outdoor use as well as integrated activity profiles for yoga, strength training, cardio, running, and more. All measurements such as distance, speed, steps taken, calories burned and more can also be viewed in Garmin Connect.
There are also many other functions such as Connected GPS, LiveTrack, emergency assistance, accident notification, and fall detection. It supports smart notifications, i.e. notifications from the connected smartphone, and other connected features.
In combination with an Android smartphone, messages can be answered directly on the watch using predefined texts. It can also be used via Garmin Pay for contactless payment. Garmin specifies the battery life as up to 5 days in smartwatch mode and up to a week in watch mode. It is charged using the charging cable supplied or inductively using Qi charging technology.

The Garmin vívomove Trend is now available from Amazon.com. The suggested retail price is $299.99 for the French Gray and Ivory color variants and $269.99 for the Black and Mist Gray variants. It is supplied with a 20 mm wide quick-change silicone wristband.
