Garmin Instinct Crossover: Rugged hybrid smartwatches with navigation and up to 70 days of battery life

Garmin presents the new Instinct Crossover, which complements the Instinct series, which is known for rugged hybrid smartwatches, with the three new hybrid solar smartwatch models Instinct Crossover, Instinct Crossover Solar, and Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical.

Garmin has unveiled its new Garmin Instinct crossover smartphone series. It expands the tough Instinct series with the three hybrid models Instinct Crossover, Instinct Crossover Solar, and Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical.

All three new hybrid watch models offer an analogue movement with classic hands and combine this with a display and smart functions as well as the robustness you are used to from the Instinct models. The new hybrid smartwatches are heat-resistant, shockproof, and water-resistant to 10 ATM and meet the military standard MIL-STD-810.

These luminescent analog watch hands are bright, easy to read, and incredibly reliable. Built-in RevoDrive technology delivers accurate analog timekeeping so you can have confidence in being right on time. Garmin Instinct Crossover SE offers up to 28 days of battery life and costs around $499.99. The Instinct Crossover Solar for $549.99 and the Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical for $599.99 enable up to 70 days of running time in smartwatch mode and unlimited running time in analog mode thanks to the solar charging function.

The Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical comes with specific tactical functions (kill switch, night vision mode, stealth mode, jumpmaster, dual position format). All three models are now available directly from the manufacturer’s website.

Garmin recently unveiled the Venu Sq 2 and Venu Sq 2 Music at IFA 2022, both new best GPS watches featuring significant improvements over their predecessors. Featuring larger OLED screens and better battery life than the Venu Sq series, the Venu Sq 2 series also offers plenty of health tracking features, but at a higher starting price of $250.
