Garmin Fenix 7 launches in three sizes, editions, and multiple colors

Along with the Epix 2, Garmin has revealed the Fenix 7 series, consisting of the Fenix 7, Fenix 7s, and Fenix 7x. The series starts at $699.99 and is available in standard, solar and sapphire solar versions. All models feature touchscreens, among various changes.

Garmin has launched the Fenix 7 series is available in 42mm, 47mm, and 51mm cases, which the company calls Fenix 7s, Fenix 7, and Fenix 7X respectively. Additionally, Garmin sells the trio in three editions: Standard, Solar, and Sapphire Solar.

It should be noted that Garmin has not released a standard edition of the Fenix 7X. Instead, the 51mm smartwatch is available in Solar and Sapphire Solar editions. We have described the permutations in which the Fenix 7 series is available below:

Fenix 7s (42mm)

• Standard: Silver with graphite band / Silver with white stone band
• Solar: Rose Gold with Light Sand Stripe / Slate Gray with Black Stripe
• Sapphire Solar: Cream Gold Titanium with Light Sand Headband / Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Headband / Dark Bronze Titanium with Shale Gray Headband

Fenix 7 (47mm)

• Standard: Silver with graphite band
• Solar: Slate Gray with Black Stripe
• Sapphire Solar: Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Headband / Mineral blue titanium DLC with white stone headband / Black titanium DLC with a black headband

Fenix 7X (51mm)

• Standard: N/A
• Solar: Slate Gray with Black Stripe
• Sapphire Solar: Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Headband / Mineral blue titanium DLC with white stone headband / Black titanium DLC with a black headband

All models feature touchscreens, optional multi-band GNSS tracking, and Garmin’s usual suite of sports, navigation, and wellness features. Garmin also supports smart notifications, music apps, Garmin Pay, and the Connect IQ store, as well as security and tracking features. Incidentally, Garmin has added endurance tracking and claims to have improved the built-in race predictor.

Garmin Fenix 7 price and availability

The Garmin Fenix 7 series starts at $699.99 and jumps to $999.99 for the Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar edition. The Fenix 7 series will be available to buy through the Adorama.com and Amazon.co.uk websites.
