The D2 Mach 1 is a smartwatch with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a 416 x 416 pixels resolution. An always-on feature is optionally available. The 47 x 47 x 14.5-millimeter watch weighs 47 grams without the strap and is made of titanium. Depending on the model variant selected, either titanium or a leather strap is included.

The system brings several features, especially for pilots, and supports the display of the weather. There is also information about airports, such as the radio frequencies used and the orientation of the runways. The watch should also be able to navigate in the air, which also supports synchronization with the Garmin Pilot app.

Like the Fenix ​​or Epix wearables, the aviator watch allows altitude to be displayed and recorded thanks to a built-in barometer. An optical sensor for measuring heart rate is installed, and oxygen saturation and stress levels can also be measured. Numerous training modes are also supported.
