Victus by HP 15L gaming tower is small, powerful, and easily upgradable

HP has introduced an exciting desktop gaming computer tower that is compact with a volume of just 15 liters. Thanks to Intel Alder Lake and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000, the best pre built PC tower still offers decent performance, and the modern case allows for easy upgrades.

The Victus by HP 15L is the first desktop gaming PC prebuilt to be marketed under HP’s new Victus brand. The company is breaking new ground in some areas – the case not only looks simple, but it is also extremely compact with a volume of just 15 liters, although HP has not yet confirmed the exact dimensions. One of the great features of the case is the Victus logo on the front, which is designed as a mirror with RGB lighting.

Also practical: There are four USB-A ports on the front, in addition to a USB-C port and a headphone jack. The Victus by HP 15L is optionally available with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 or an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. Due to the compact dimensions, however, there are limits concerning the graphics cards offered – the tower is equipped with a maximum of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

There is also an M.2 SSD with a capacity of up to 1 TB, which is connected via PCIe 4.0, as well as a hard disk with a maximum capacity of 2 TB and a maximum of 32 GB DDR4 RAM. HP emphasizes that the graphics card, the SSD, and also the hard drive can be easily replaced – this applies to most gaming towers, but, advantageously, HP does not install proprietary components. Unfortunately, it is unclear what performance the power supply offers and whether it would have sufficient reserves for more powerful graphics cards.
