Gamescom 2017: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Xbox One X Trailer

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds could not fail at Gamescom 2017, so at the event, Microsoft also announced the partnership with Bluehole Inc and it will soon bring the popular game to the Xbox One and Xbox One X.

During the event, Microsoft also revealed a new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Xbox One X Trailer for interested gamers. The game is currently available in Early Access only on Steam but over the next few months will be exclusive to Xbox One consoles, then the title should also come on PlayStation 4 but there is not much information available currently.

PU Battlegrounds is getting incredible success and has sold more than 7 million copies of the game. Optimization for Xbox One X version has already begun and, according to development team reports a few weeks ago, Battlegrounds on the new console runs at a frame rate ranging between 30 to 40 on 100-person servers.

Mr. CH Kim, the Executive Producer and Vice President of Bluehole to official Xbox website, said: “Back in June at E3, we announced that PUBG will be launching exclusively on Xbox One in the Xbox Game Preview program in late 2017. Ever since then we have come to realise that we have a shared vision for the direction of the game with the Xbox team. This led to our decision on extending our partnership with Microsoft and I’m happy to announce it now includes Microsoft as the publisher for our PUBG on Xbox One,”

“By partnering with Microsoft, our team believes that we will be able to accelerate console development, while maintaining quality across all platforms, as well as giving us access to vast sales, marketing and publishing resources that will help us reach new fans to welcome to the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds universe.”
