Game Awards 2017: Best Gaming Trailers Released at the Event

We’ve talked about the gaming titles were announced during the Game Awards 2017, but other news also came from the event, including expansions and exclusive versions. Check out the best trailers that debuted on the stage of the Game Awards 2017, with a special mention for Death Stranding.

Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima, one of the world’s leading gaming experts, is working on a project titled “Death Stranding.” This is not the first trailer on the game, but it’s the longest and the most complete. There are invisible beings and even a fetus inside Norman Reedus, the actor who stars in the game.

The latest trailer also features strange towering alien monsters and the recurring appearance of a baby in a tube. The trailer clocks in at around eight minutes, though there’s still no sign of any gameplay or anything resembling a release date.

Fortnite: 50 v 50

Fortnite has successfully created a mode similar to PUBG, “Battle Royale”, but a new way to have fun is coming to the game: 50 vs. 50, a massive battle with up to a hundred people involved.

The mode will only be available for a limited time, so you might want to check out the battles soon while you can.

New Map of PUBG: Desert

PUBG presents its second map of the battle royale mode: Miramar, a huge desert (seriously, it’s too big) to distribute players who face each other on the battlefield. There are several small cities on the map, including new weapons and vehicles.

The new map will be released on December 20th, 2017.

A Way Out

A Way Out was announced at E3 2017, gaining more insight and a brand new trailer during the Game Awards 2017. It is an adventure game that includes a cooperative mode where two brothers live the story together.

EA also announced a new free trial option; those who buy the game will get another copy to share with a friend, so they can play together. The game will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 23, 2018.

Firewatch: In the Vally of Gods

Firewatch was considered one of the best games of 2016. Who liked the title has just received great news, a successor is coming under the name of “In the Valley of Gods.” This time, the story takes place in Egypt and has a great focus on the narrative.

The studio says that players will “explore a remote and ancient valley in the Egyptian desert, uncovering treasure and treachery in pursuit of a discovery that could bring you fame and fortune or leave you for dead, buried beneath the sands.” The game will be coming to Steam, though there’s no word yet on when.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion

The second expansion of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has just been released by Nintendo. With the name of “The Champions’ Ballad”, the novelty includes a motorcycle. Yes, you can have a look at the extensive map of the game. Who would have thought, eh?!

Bayonetta 3

Get ready, Bayonetta fans, because Nintendo is working on a third game franchise. During the Game Awards 2017, the company also announced that the title will be an exclusive Switch console. Unfortunately, no information about the story or release date was given.
