Galaxy Core Prime VE with 1GB RAM and 4.5 inch Display Launched

Samsung India has announced the launch of the new version of the Galaxy Core Prime in India called Galaxy Core Prime VE, an attempt to expand its Core Prime series.

The handset is already listed on the Samsung India official website priced at Rs 8,600 – approximately $130, but currently its shows ‘out of the stock’ with Notify me option for people who interested to buy this product.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE is based on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and Dual SIM support. The handset is features a 4.5 inch PLS TFT display with a WVGA screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that matched up with 1 GB of RAM. It also bears an 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded further by another 128GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy Core Prime VE sports a 5-megapixel main camera at the back with LED flash and autofocus. While there is a 2-megapixel front facing camera is given for capture selfies and video chatting. The device has a plastic material body with metal finish side border while it measures 130.8×67.9×8.8mm and also sports an accelerometer and proximity sensors.

For connectivity, includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and MicroUSB 2.0. The officail page does not disclose the battery powers, but mentioned that the Samsung Core Prime device rendering up to 1.2 days of standby time with 10% battery capacity which powered by Ultra Power Saving Mode.
