So far, the Logitech G333 has only been offered as a VR version for the Oculus Quest 2, and the interesting gaming In-Ear headphones are finally available as a regular version. The new Logitech Earbuds are compatible with any device that has an AUX or USB-C port; the cable can minimize latency.
New Oculus Ready Bluetooth earbuds are handy, but they also have a couple of drawbacks. Apart from the fact that they have to be changed regularly and that the latency is longer than with wired earphones, even with the partly available “gaming modes”, not all devices allow the use of Bluetooth earphones.
The new Logitech G333 In Ears, on the other hand, should be compatible with almost every device, because the headset relies on a regular 3.5 mm jack, and the included USB-C adapter can also be used with smartphones that do not have an AUX plug. Due to the aluminum housing and the wide, flat cable, the G333 Logitech Earbuds should be particularly robust, while a microphone integrated into the cable enables chatting with fellow players. There are also buttons on the cable to regulate the volume.
In addition to the USB-C adapter, the scope of delivery also includes silicone earplugs in a total of three sizes and a compact carrying case. The sound is said to have been specially adapted for games, with Logitech using a combination of two drivers, one with a diameter of 9.2 millimeters and one with a diameter of 5.8 millimeters.
