Logitech Brio 500 Full HD Webcam with Auto Light Correction and Dual Noise Reduction Mics

With the Brio 500, Logitech is introducing a new Full HD webcam series that offers noise-canceling microphone technology and features such as automatic light correction, intelligent framing, and show mode for presenting objects on the desk.

Logitech expands its portfolio of webcams with the new Brio 500 series. For the new Logitech cam, the manufacturer promises business-level audio and video quality for video calls. Thanks to certification with the most important video conferencing platforms Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom, companies can also use the webcam at work at home, or office.

Logitech packs a variety of technologies into the Brio 500 webcam series to address common video calling problems such as awkward camera angles, poor lighting conditions, and limited field of view. Among other things, the RightSight technology (activated by Logi Tune) ensures that users are always automatically presented in the best possible light, even if they are moving in front of the device. The RightLight function, in turn, automatically corrects insufficient lighting such as weak light or backlighting.

Another feature of the Brio 500 series is the show mode. That allows sketches and other physical objects on the desktop to be shared with other participants. For this purpose, the camera can be easily tilted with the bracket system. Filming is done with a 4-megapixel camera in Full HD (1080p) at 30 frames per second or in 720p at 60 fps. It offers a field of view of 90 degrees, which can be flexibly adjusted using the Logi Tune software. Beamforming noise reduction technology is installed for audio transmission to filter out disruptive background noise.

The new Logitech Brio 500 Full HD webcam series is available in three colors graphite, off-white, and rose, whereby the first option consists of 68 percent and the other two color variants consist of 54 percent certified recycled plastic (PCR). The recommended retail price is $139 / £129 on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites.
