With the Flik HD10, Kodak has a new Full HD LED projector in its range, which, thanks to the installed Android TV system, should also be able to be used without an external player.
The Kodak Flik HD10 is a new Full HD Smart mini projector from Kodak. The led video projector 1080p model is a compact device based on LED technology. An LED light source generally promises a long service life, which is estimated at 50,000 hours for the Flik HD10.
The downside of the coin: the brightness of LED projectors is significantly lower than that of comparable projectors with conventional light sources. The Flik HD10 is no exception in this regard either, with a brightness of just 200 ANSI lumens. Due to the lower waste heat, the volume of the fan should only be less than 35 dBA.
According to the manufacturer, an image between 60 and 150 inches in size can be projected at a projection distance of between one and four meters. Keystone correction is performed automatically while the focus is manual. Brightness uniformity is specified as 90 percent.
Kodak specifies 1920×1080 pixels as the native resolution, which should result in good image sharpness. HDMI and a USB port are available, but Android TV is also installed on the device. Content from streaming providers such as YouTube or Netflix can also be played via WiFi.
As usual, audio output is available, although Kodak also uses the usual 3.5-millimeter jack connection, and two 5-watt speakers are installed.

BenQ recently introduced the new 1080p projector: BenQ HT2060. It is also a Full HD LED projector with low latency and lens shift features. This is a 4LED model with a 1080p resolution and high coverage of 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. It costs $1000.
