Fujifilm introduces a high-performance Fujinun XF 2x TC WR Teleconverter for Fujinon XF50-140mm F/2.8 R LM OIS WR and XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lenses were launched last year. The X mount converter magnifies the image by 2x and retains full communication between the lens and body; enabling metering, autofocus, and image stabilization as well as the transmission of Exif data. Specifically, new Fujifilm XF 2X TC WR Teleconverter is the second teleconverter in to the Fujifilm Teleconverter lineup, following the Fuji Teleconverter 1.4x TC WR was launched back in November 2015. To ensure image quality is not impaired, Fujifilm used the 9 elements in 5 groups to maintain the optical performance of the original lens, which is high compared to 1.4x (7 elements, 3 groups). Contrast Detection AF is still available when using the XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with the 2x teleconverter mounted.

This Fujifilm XF Teleconverter is also weather-resistant can operate in harsh environments with a weather-resistant camera and lens. It has made by high grade metal to match with Fujifilm X cameras, when attached to a compatible Fujinon lens, the two products appear as one single lens.2x teleconverter
