Fujinon has released a portable zoom lens for professional video shooting: Fujinon Duvo HZK 14-100mm. It is the second lens in the Duvo series – the first was presented earlier and provided a wider focal length range: Fujinon Duvo HZK 24–300mm T2.9-4.2. The new Fujinon 14-100 Duvo HZK optics have a standard PL-mount bayonet for cinema optics and 7.1x optical zoom.
The new Fujinon 14-100mm lens is relatively compact and has a linear drive for smoother operation. It has a much wider range of focal lengths and a 1.5x converter, and at the same time, it is lighter. Thus, the company managed to take a step forward to previous developments.
So, the new Fujinon 14-100 Duvo HZK is a portable zoom lens for shooting with the highest image quality. The focal length range covers the most popular angles for shooting documentaries, clips, and other video content. In conjunction with the previously announced Fujinon Duvo HZK 24–300mm T2.9-4.2 lens, the focal length range will be from 14 to 300mm. It will cover most shooting scenarios.
At the same time, the new cinema lens has a built-in 1.5x extender. With its help, you can achieve a focal length of 21-150mm. The extender will allow you to work with this lens with full-frame cameras. The lens is designed for Super35 cameras when the extender is not activated. The optical zoom range with the new Fujinon Duvo HZK 14-100mm lens is 7.1x.
At the wide angle (14mm), the lens features a T2.9 aperture, which Fujinon claims makes it ideal for shooting concerts in low light, night events, or other scenarios requiring a shallow depth of field and cinematic bokeh effect.

The new cinema lens weighs 2.65 kg and is 26.7 cm long, making it suitable for handheld shooting (with a shoulder mount) or for use with a stabilization system.
