Fujifilm has officially unveiled the new X-Pro series camera – the Fujifilm X-Pro3, aimed at street photographers and photojournalists. The camera has received many interesting features, including a 3.5-inch tilt display, which is hidden on the back of the hinged rear panel. There is also a second small display that shows only shutter speed, aperture, and other basic information.
According to the company, such an idea is to help photographers get rid of distractions and focus only on the stage that they are shooting. The new and improved hybrid viewfinder uses a 3.69 million-dot organic LED panel with high brightness and enhanced color rendering to help photographers make the use of the viewfinder even more effective. Otherwise, the specifications of the Fuji X-Pro3 are the same as the latest Fujifilm models.
So, the Fuji X Pro 3 is equipped with a 26MP BSI X-Trans CMOS sensor, and the X-Processor 4 image-processing engine the same as the Fuji X-T3. The phase-detection AF now works down to a luminance of -6EV; close to absolute darkness, matching or even surpassing Nikon’s full-frame Z6. A new is CLASSIC Neg. A film Simulation mode, which is designed to simulate color negative film that was normally used for everyday snapshots. The sensitivity range is ISO 160-12 800 or 80-51 200 (extended).
The Fujifilm X Pro 3 also supports the new HDR shooting function, which combines several images with different exposure values to expand the dynamic range. This provides a natural tone in pictures without excessive amplification. There is a Monochromatic Color on Fujifilm xpro 3, which allows you to choose the main color from the palette of warm/cool or purple/green shades to give your photos an individuality.
Speaking of video capabilities, the new Fuji camera is capable of shooting 4K (4096×2160) video at a speed of 30 fps or 1080p at a speed of 120 fps. The display flips 180 degrees, but since it leans back, you cannot use it, for example, for video blogs. There is a 2.5 mm microphone port, an SDXC UHS-II slot, and a USB-C 3.1 Gen1, but there is no headphone jack. In addition, Fujifilm X-Pro3 is equipped with one of the most durable cases with elements of titanium and has protection against any weather conditions.
