Fujifilm has announced the launch of the Instax Link Wide mobile printer. The new addition to the Instax line of instant printers allows you to print larger images than the Instax mini Link smartphone printer, which was introduced in back 2019.
The Instax printer is compatible not only with smartphones but also with a Fujifilm X-S10 mirrorless digital camera, that is, you can send pictures to it directly from this camera.
The Fuji Instax printer fits in the palm of your hand. It accepts 108 x 85 mm Instax Wide cartridges. Image dimensions are 99 x 62 mm. It takes approximately 12 seconds to print one picture. On one charge of the built-in battery, the Fujifilm printer is capable of printing up to 100 images in a row. There are two print modes: Instax Rich, with an emphasis on deep warm colors, and Instax Natural, where natural tones are prioritized.
To use the mobile printer, you need to install the free Instax Link WIDE App on your smartphone, which transfers images to the printer via Bluetooth. According to the manufacturer, this application opens up endless creative possibilities and entertainment options for the user.
Among the functions of the application is the ability to print frames from a video and “QR-Print Mode”. In the latter case, a QR code is embedded in the image, which allows you to add sound, a link to a website, a location mark, and a hidden message to the image.
