Fotodiox’s new Pro Pronto AF adapter enables autofocus of Leica M-mount lenses with Fujifilm X-series cameras. The FotodioX Pro Pronto Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to Fuji camera is designed to allow Leica M-mount lenses that weigh up to 1.5 lbs to be used on select Fujifilm X-mount cameras.
The adapter is made of brass and aluminum alloy and uses a built-in spiral mechanism for AF-S or AF-C contrast-detection AF. This adapter can also improve near-range portraiture by allowing the lens to focus closer than its normal minimum focus distance. By placing space between the camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying your subject is created.
The adapter can be combined with a separately available lens to Leica M-Mount camera adapters to enable the use of other lens types on a FUJIFILM X-mount camera. Designed to support focusing to infinity, the adapter is constructed from brass as well as aluminum alloy and utilizes a brass lens mounting ring to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.
