FiiO M3 Pro Lossless Music Player With Touchscreen, USB DAC

FiiO has introduced the latest entry-level Lossless music player model called M3 Pro. This is a comprehensive upgrade of FiiO M3K with touch screen design, new best DAC chip with higher output power.

Inside the FiiO M3 Pro lossless audio player is an ESS9218P integrated audio DAC / Amp chip capable of decoding music quality up to 32-bit / 384kHz and DSD128. Compared to the previous M3K using AKM4376A DAC / Amp chip and decoding only up to DSD64.

Another highlight of the M3 Pro is that the single-ended 3.5mm output power is three times higher than the M3K, up to 92mW at 16 Ohm, 75mW at 32 Ohms, and will also support Line mode output. -Out to output a separate Amp.

This new Hi Res audio player is designed with a 3.5-inch IPS touch screen, soft rounded edges to create a sense of comfort when holding. The weight of the high resolution audio player is also very light, only a mere 70g. The CPU processor is still Ingenic X1000E similar to that on the FiiO M5 (Review) and M3k series, with 64MB of RAM. It also supports SD card slot up to 2TB.

FiiO M3 Pro will run on the Linux platform with many applications such as support for reading ebooks, viewing photos, recording audio, and even connect with computers. However, because this is an entry-level high-fidelity device, there will be no WiFi nor the ability to use streaming music services such as Spotify, TIDAL, etc.

It uses a USB Type C charging port with the ability to output USB Audio output to other Portable DACs. A battery lasts up to 15 hours of continuous use and up to 35 days of standby time. The expected price of FiiO M3 Pro is $100 and will be sold officially in the near future via Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.com online shops.
