The SanDisk Professional Pro-G40 rugged external SSD is IP68 water and dust-resistant. The company says the drive can withstand pressures up to 1.8 tons. In addition, it can withstand a drop from a height of three meters onto a carpeted concrete floor. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not indicate what materials the drive case is made of. It is built with a cooling aluminum core to sustain ultra-fast speeds under its heaviest workflows.
